In a pair of major moves at TBC Corp.'s Private Brands division, President Gary Paulson will step down on March 31, 2009, while Marty Krcelic steps into the senior vice president of sales & customer service job a day later.
Paulson joined TBC in 1980. On his way to the presidency of TBC Private Brands, he served as national sales manager, national sales director, vice president of sales and senior vice president of sales.
"Gary's leadership was instrumental in establishing TBC's Private Brands division as one of the leading marketers in the North American tire industry," says Erik Olsen, CEO and president of the TBC Wholesale Group, which oversees the Private Brands division.
"His guidance has positioned TBC's Private Brands division for significant growth as we continue to partner with the leading independent retailers and wholesale distributors in North America."
Krcelic joined the Private Brands division in 2007 as director of sales. He has held numerous management positions at other industry companies, including Treadways LLC, another division within the TBC Wholesale Group.
"His focus on our customers' success is consistent with TBC's core values and ensures a seamless transition," says Olsen.
