TBC Corp. has named Bill Schafer as chief operating officer for TBC Brands and TBC International.
Schafer will report directly to Sam Kato, president and CEO of TBC Corp.
In his new role, he will also oversee all TBC Brands and TBC International sales initiatives, including customer service, commercial tire sales, equipment and non-tire sales and operations.

Schafer brings 30 years of experience from Michelin North America Inc., where he most recently held the role of original equipment and aftermarket vice president for the Michelin Beyond Road Business line.
He also oversaw all B2B sales, distribution and operations activities for Michelin’s North American region and led a team of more than 600 people as vice president of North America B2B sales.
Prior to that role, he served as vice president of North American commercial sales for Michelin.
