TGI Holds Open House at Portland D/C

March 11, 2025

Tire Group International LLC (TGI) recently welcomed more than 100 customers to its newly expanded distribution center in Portland, Ore.

The event marked the official opening of the 95,000-square-foot facility following TGI's acquisition of Portland-based Avaun Tire.

The Miami, Fla-based TGI "quickly integrated Avaun Tire’s operations into the new location, reaffirming its commitment to growth and service in the region," according to TGI officials.

“We are passionately committed to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and enthusiastic about the opportunity for mutual growth with our retail partners as their independent, family-owned distributor,” says Sherko Rasouli, TGI vice president of sales.

“At TGI, we pride ourselves on offering personalized, family-style service, which sets us apart in a market typically dominated by large corporate distributors. We are dedicated to responding quickly to our customers’ needs and are grateful for their continued support.”

The new distribution center will serve key regions and is part of TGI’s ongoing efforts to expand its reach.

With an extensive portfolio of over 30 tire brands, TGI covers all major industry segments, including passenger, light truck, medium truck, agricultural, industrial, OTR  and specialty tires.

The company's Portland facility stocks a wide range of products, including brands like Cosmo, Astro and Duramas, as well as Yokohama, Kumho, GT Radial, Mickey Thompson, Kenda and others.

“TGI is actively seeking new partnerships with distributors nationwide who share our vision of exceptional service and sustainable growth,” says TGI President Joaquin Gonzalez.

"We are also focused on organic expansion and in the next two months, we will be launching a new greenfield distribution center to further increase our reach and service capabilities.”
