Tire Discounters Set Fundraising Record for WWP

Dec. 6, 2022

Tire Discounters Inc. has set a fundraising record with over $200,000 raised for Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), beating the company’s 2021 fundraising record by $70,000.

A Louisville, Ky.-based store collected the most customer donations of all Tire Discounters locations.

A check presentation was at the store held on Nov. 17.

“Wounded Warrior Project is very close to home for Tire Discounters, as we employ many reservists, active veterans, and their spouses at our locations,” says Charles Curlee, senior vice president of retail sales, Tire Discounters.

“Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, warriors and their families never pay a penny for our programs – because they paid their dues on the battlefield,” says Brea Kratzert Todd, vice president of business development, WWP.

Tire Discounters has extended its support to WWP on behalf of customers and employees for the last four years, donating a total of $375,000 since 2019.
