Bridgestone Completes Azuga Acquisition

Sept. 7, 2021

Bridgestone Americas Inc. has completed its $391 million purchase of Azuga Holdings Inc. in a move that will accelerate the tiremaker's efforts "to develop and deploy a comprehensive fleet management solution as a central pillar" of its mobility strategy.

Azuga's platform - which serves more than 6,000 customers throughout the United States and Canada - provides GPS tracking, vehicle telematics and more.

“The completion of this acquisition is a significant milestone on our journey to build a more diverse, digital and future-focused Bridgestone,” says Bridgestone Americas CEO Paolo Ferrari.

“With Azuga in our portfolio, we will be able to scale our mobility solutions with speed to drive increased safety, sustainability and efficiency for fleet customers.”

The Azuga fleet management platform complements Bridgestone’s existing portfolio of cloud-based fleet mobility solutions.
