TBC Corp. is now distributing Sailun Tire Americas' ERANGE EV tire through its TBC Brands, NTW, Midas, Big O Tires, Tire Kingdom and National Tire & Battery networks.
Unveiled in 2022, the ERANGE EV "strategically addresses the need for tires that enhance EV and hybrid performance, help increase range and deliver a quiet and comfortable driving experience," according to TBC officials.
The tire is made with Sailun's EcoPoint3 liquid mixing technology and "is TBC’s first venture in the fast-growing EV and hybrid market,” said Kyle Sanders, director of consumer product marketing for TBC Brands.
“This new tire will immediately make an impact in our product portfolio by providing long-lasting wear and a quiet, comfortable ride, while addressing consumer fear of ‘range anxiety’ all at an unmatched price.”
The ERANGE EV features a reinforced sidewall design for increased load-bearing capacity and enhanced handling and cornering.
It also contains SilentTread Technology and a variable pitch sequence "to deliver an exceptionally quiet ride, backed by proven lab and road testing, to meet the highest of standards," according to TBC officials.
The ERANGE EV fits rims ranging from 15 inches to 22 inches in diameter. And it comes with a 45,000-mile limited treadwear warranty, a one-year road hazard protection plan and free lifetime replacement for workmanship or material defects.
