Monro Inc. has promoted Russ Welsh to senior vice president of retail operations for its North Division.
Welsh, who has more than 30 years of automotive experience, replaces Dan Tripoli. He will be responsible for developing and executing Monro's retail operations strategy, as well as long-range implementation plan. He'll be a member of the company's senior leadership team and report directly to President and CEO Mike Broderick.
Welsh previously served as regional vice president, and has been with Monro since September 2014. Prior to that, he had a long career with Pep Boys, where he started as a technician and ultimately served as assistant vice president.
“Russ is well known at Monro for driving operational excellence,” says Broderick. “His region consistently ranks as one of our top performers. Russ’ passion for leadership development and workforce training empowers our Teammates to own their work and give our Guests the best service in the business.”
