Continental Tire the Americas LLC has launched a new ultra-high performance tire within its General Tire brand, the G-MAX AS07.
The all-season tire is for passenger and light truck vehicles and the G-MAX AS07 is replacing the existing G-MAX AS05 and Grabber UHP, combining them into one line.
The tire comes with the replacement tire monitor and visual alignment indicators, which aid in detecting tire wear. The G-MAX AS07 ranges in size from 16-24'' rim diameter and offers a size lineup with 77 sizes.
Key features of the tire include wet and dry braking; good snow traction; low road noise; and long-lasting treadwear, according to Continental officials.
"We are excited to build on the legacy of the G-MAX AS05 by introducing the new and improved G-MAX AS07," says Travis Roffler, director of marketing for General.
"With the improved performance and new size offerings, we are confident that the G-MAX AS07 will truly deliver for our performance-driven customers."
The tire is backed by a 50,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.
