Telle Tire & Auto Centers has acquired the assets of Car-Doc Automotive & Tire, which is based in Maryland Heights, Mo.
The Car-Doc location features 10 service bays and covers 11,000 square feet.
Car-Doc, which opened in 1989, was owned and operated by Mark Schenberg.
"In 2015, Mark built a state-of-the-art facility, where the company operates the business today," say Telle Tire officials.
"Car-Doc Automotive is a premier shop in the St. Louis market and Telle is extremely proud to bring this brand into the company portfolio.
"Car-Doc has created a following for specialized repairs and has a strong presence in electric and hybrid vehicle repair services. The addition of Car-Doc expands the Telle footprint in these segments, positioning the company to be more prepared for the on-going technological advancements of automotive repair."
Telle Tire now has 23 locations throughout Missouri and Illinois and operates under the following brands, in addition to Car-Doc and its namesake brand: KC Complete Auto & Tire in Kansas City, Mo.; Jerry’s Tire Sales in Edwardsville, Ill.; and The Auto Clinic in Lee’s Summit, Mo., which Telle acquired in late-July.
The purchase of Car-Doc marks the third acquisition for Telle Tire in 2023.
Telle Tire is the 50th largest tire dealership in the U.S., according to the latest MTD research.
