Cincinnati, Ohio-based Tire Discounters Inc. says it has added more than 40 locations to its network within the last two years.
Locations added in 2023 include stores in Loganville, Dawsonville, Fayetteville and Kennesaw, Ga., plus a location in Alcoa, Tenn.
In addition, the dealership - which was founded by its chairman, Chip Wood, who was named MTD's Tire Dealer of the Year in 2020 - added two stores in the Cincinnati suburbs.
"The Wood family of brands continues to invest in adding new greenfield stores, with several currently under construction," says Jamies Ward, president and CEO of Tire Discounters, while "strengthening our recently added businesses with major investments and a focus on training our team members.
“It’s an exciting time for Tire Discounters as we look to service more vehicle types, starting with extensive training on safely repairing and maintaining non-ICE vehicles," he continues “We also continue to focus on the automotive glass market and how we can best service Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) vehicles."
"Earlier this year, Modern Tire Dealer released its annual list of the largest independent tire dealerships and Tire Discounters was named the sixth largest in the United States, moving up one spot from last year’s listing," add Tire Discounters officials.
