Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc. has opened five stores in the Houston metro in the last year and says it will expand in the region beyond the 20 stores it operates there.
As part of its expansion in Houston, the company invited customers to enter a giveaway for a a new Ford Bronco Sport. Lifelong Texas resident Lowell Anderson won the vehicle in a random drawing. He had entered the contest while visiting a store for a routine oil change for his vehicle.
Steve Powell, Sun Auto Tire's market leader in Houston, handed Anderson the keys.
“Sun Auto Tire & Service is proud to be a growing part of the Houston community,” says Powell. “This Bronco Sport giveaway is just one way we are taking care of customers and giving back. Not only are we committed to providing the best tire and auto service experience in the city, but we also want to be an integral part of the neighborhoods and communities we serve.”
Powell says Sun Auto Tire's new stores in the Houston market "are just the beginning.”
Anderson says, “It’s a nice prize so it’s great to be on the receiving end… I have nothing but good things to say about Sun Auto. I’ve been coming to this shop for about six years now. It’s where my tires come from and where my oil changes come from, and they’re always as fast as I could want them to be.”
The company's newest Houston-area stores are:
- 7727 West Grand Parkway South in Richmond, Texas;
- 26810 Kuykendahl Road in Tomball, Texas;
- 2807 West Grand Parkway North in Katy, Texas;
- 5445 FM 2920 in Spring, Texas; and
- 9060 Hwy 6 in Missouri City, Texas.
The family of brands under the Sun Auto Tire umbrella operate 91 stores across Texas. Nationwide, Sun Auto Tire has 435 locations in 22 states.
