Fountain Tire Promotes 3 Executives to VP Roles

Fountain Tire Ltd. announced the advancements of three executives to vice president roles. 

Curtis Goodwin will become vice president of stores in Alberta and Saskatchewan; Nason Higinbotham will become vice president of stores in British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario; and Yves Richard will become vice president of supply and wholesale.

“Each brings a unique skill set that will enhance our strategic direction, champion our partnership philosophy and support our store managers in delivering an exceptional customer experience.”

Goodwin started his career at Fountain Tire more than 30 years ago, as assistant manager and then store manager, building a strong team and profitable retail location in Edmonton.

His most recent position was general manager, Alberta and Saskatchewan stores.

In his new role, Goodwin will oversee his current territory in an elevated capacity, developing the next generation of regional leadership.

Higinbotham joined Fountain Tire in 2014 and was promoted to general manager of the British Columbia and Yukon Stores in 2022.

As vice president of stores in British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario, Higinbotham will continue to grow the Fountain Tire business and a team of directors and store managers in his expanding territory.

Richard spent 17 years managing customer solutions in Canada’s telecommunications industry prior to joining Fountain Tire in 2014.

He was promoted to general manager in 2023. Richard also chairs the board of Goodyear’s Canadian Commercial Tire and Service Network.

Riachrd's new role will encompass Fountain Tire’s product and pricing, inventory, warehousing and logistics, retread and wholesale portfolios.
