Sailun Tire Americas continues to expand its rugged-terrain light truck tire line-up with the launch of the Ironhead Thrasher R/T RTD01.
Available now in more than 35 sizes, the Ironhead Thrasher R/T RTD01 has been “specifically engineered to provide excellent traction and handling in various terrains – making it ideal for those who enjoy exploring different types of landscapes,” say Sailun officials.
The tire is 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake-certified for optimal snow performance, with LT sizes pinned for studs.
It also features deep tread depth and aggressive sidewall biters that provide “desired aesthetics and off-road durability when the terrain demands it.”
An optimized tread contact patch ensures enhanced vehicle stability, while “strategically angled tread blocks promote ride comfort with reduced rolling noise.
“Staggered, scalloped shoulder lugs with stone ejectors maximize traction, as well as aid in the removal of debris.”
The Ironhead Thrasher R/T RTD01 also comes with a 45,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.
The tire was put through the paces on Oct. 9 at a ride-and-drive event in Moab, Utah.
