Chapel Hill Graduates Leadership Development Program Class

Chapel Hill Tire has announced the graduation of its inaugural Leadership Development Program class.  

The class consisted of seven employees who completed an intensive nine-month curriculum designed to enhance their leadership skills. 

The program challenges participants to think critically about their roles as leaders with a focus on productivity, effective time management and workforce management through hands-on exercises and discussions.  

“As a company, we believe in nurturing future leaders by equipping them with the tools they need to grow,” says Marc Pons, president of Chapel Hill Tire.  

“This program is a critical part of our Work Happy, Drive Happy initiative, and I am incredibly proud of these graduates. They represent the next generation of leaders at Chapel Hill.” 

The nine-month program included self-assessments, quizzes, team-building exercises and a role swap where each participant served as acting store manager for two weeks.  

“We’ve already seen the immediate impact of the program,” says Pons.  

“Three of the seven graduates have already been promoted to store manager positions, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness in preparing future leaders.”
