Bloomsburg, Pa.-based Steve Shannon Tire Co. has acquired three retail stores from The Tire Warehouse Inc., which is based in Albany, N.Y.
The stores will become Steve Shannon Tire’s 47th, 48th and 49th locations, giving the family-owned dealership 12 locations in New York.
“All 35 Tire Warehouse employees have accepted positions and will stay on full-time at their current locations,” say Steve Shannon Tire officials.
Founded by John McCall, Tire Warehouse has served the Albany area of New York since 1982.
“The locations will continue to offer full tire and mechanical services to the local communities” and will be rebranded as Steve Shannon Tire facilities.
With nearly 50 total locations throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Steve Shannon Tire also operates a retread plant and eight wholesale distribution centers.
Steve Shannon Tire is the one of the biggest independent tire dealership in the United States, according to the 2024 MTD 100.
