Straightaway Tire Grows to 65 Locations

Bloomfield, Mich.-based Straightaway Tire & Auto acquired 17 locations during 2024, bringing its total number of stores to 65.

In total, Straightaway Tire & Auto, which is owned by private equity firm O2 Investments, now has 21 locations in the Denver, Colo., area; 20 in Minnesota; 17 throughout New England; and seven stores in Florida.

"The most recent expansion includes shops in Plaistow, N.H.; Englewood, Colo.; and Denver, enhancing the company’s footprint in key markets," say Straightaway Tire & Auto officials.

"The expansion reflects Straightaway’s focus on strengthening its network of locations within the local markets it serves. It also underscores the company’s commitment to maintaining the quality of local automotive care, supporting the communities, customers and associates involved."

Straightaway Tire & Auto also has named Cameron Chernikow as its chief customer officer. In that role, she will oversee the chain's strategic marketing efforts and "support operational alignment across its expanding portfolio."

Straightaway Tire & Auto is one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the United States, according to the 2024 MTD 100.
