VIP Tires & Service has acquired 41-year-old Wallingford Tire & Auto in Wallingford, Conn.
This acquisition expands the Auburn, Maine-based VIP Tires & Service to 76 locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
The location features five service bays.
VIP Tires recently acquired Tires International in Manchester, Conn.
John Bonini, owner and operator of Wallingford Tire & Auto has been named NAPA ASE Master Technician of the Year four times. He will stay on as a general manager at VIP Tires.
“Wallingford is a great town for VIP with almost 45,000 residents and John Bonini has built a great business at this location," says Tim Winkeler, president and CEO of VIP Tires & Service.
