VIP Tires Donates $3,616 to Hanover Schools PTA

VIP Tires & Service has announced a $3,616 donation to Hanover Schools PTA in Massachusetts after VIP Tires opened its Hanover location in October 2024.  

The money was raised during another one of VIP Tires Oil Changes for Education Initiative. 

Dennis Furman, store manager at VIP Tires Hanover location, handed the check to the Hanover School PTA to be used for Hanover Public Schools.  

VIP opened its Hanover location in October 2024, marking its 11th location in Massachusetts. A grand opening event on Oct. 9 kicked off the Oil Changes for Education program which continued through Nov. 15. 

A second round of fundraising took place following the holidays from Jan. 5 to Jan. 31, 2025. The program offered 50% off any oil change with 100% of the proceeds going to the local school community. 

“At VIP, we’re committed to giving back to the communities we serve, and programs like Oil Changes for Education allow us to make a direct and meaningful impact locally,” says Tim Winkeler, president and CEO of VIP Tires & Service.  

“We’re thrilled with how the Hanover community embraced this initiative, and we hope this donation helps support the incredible work being done in the Hanover Public Schools. This is just the beginning of our community involvement in Hanover, and we look forward to continuing to serve our neighbors both on and off the road.” 

Based in Auburn, Maine, the company operates over 75 locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
