Tire Group International LLC (TGI) has introduced its Gripit XT extreme all-terrain tire under its Cosmo brand.
The off-road tire will roll out in two phases, with phase one rolling out now with 14 sizes available for Cosmo distributors. Phase two will include 15 additional sizes later in 2025.
TGI officials first talked to MTD about this tire – and more – at the 2024 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show.
The Gripit XT features scalloped shoulder lugs for increased traction in extreme conditions, Quiet Kat Technology for noise reduction, enhanced shoulder claw design, customizable sidewall options and more.
The tire also features Ultimate Tire Technology, a proprietary system integrating bead reinforcement, structural enhancements and optimized performance design for maximum durability.
