Burt Brothers Tire and Service Inc. plans to open its 13th location in 2021.
The company has broken ground in Layton, Utah, and will build a store with eight tire and service bays, plus three lube bays. The Layton store will be Burt Brothers' northernmost location.
“The Burt Brothers motto has always been to treat every customer like they are the only one, and we aim for that in every aspect of our business,” said Jeremy Burt, one of the five members of the Burt family's second generation that owns the business. “We have people who drive from Layton to our Farmington location, but our new store will be much more convenient for them and will allow us to reach many more Layton residents."Burt says the store will be staffed with ASE-certified technicians and offer an expansive tire inventory. Among the brands Burt Brothers carries are Firestone, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Kelly, Pirelli, Hankook, Michelin, BFGoodrich, Continental and Fuzion. The company says it has direct relationships with all of those vendors.“We’re in the sweet spot as the state’s biggest independent local tire dealer,” he said. “We have the leverage to negotiate great deals for our customers, but we’re tied to our communities in a way that big, national chains aren’t. Our local roots give us a unique understanding and connection with our customers."
The Layton store will be located at 2020 West Antelope Drive and is expected to open in the spring of 2021.
