Hunter Engineering Co. has announced two new variations to its R14 and RX16 scissor alignment racks, the RX14KL and the RX16KL.
The new lifts will be on display at the 2023 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3.
Both lifts can accommodate up to 195-inch two-wheel wheelbases. The RX14KL gains an additional 13 inches, while the RX16KL gains an additional 17 inches.
“The longer wheelbase adds more medium-duty vehicle capability, along with more runway to perform rolling compensation on crew-cab pickups and larger vans,” says Pete Liebetreu, HD product manager for Hunter.
The new lifts are Hunter's response to a “growing industry need for greater length,” he continues.
New adjustable turnplate pockets provide an 88- to 168-inch four-wheel alignment service range. Additionally, the new flush-mount arrangement simplifies floor-level rolling compensation and advanced driver-assistance system calibrations.
