Charles “Chuck” Lee Mick, who held a variety of upper-level positions at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. during his 50-year career, recently died.
He was 79 years old.
Born in Akron, Ohio, to the late Charles W. and Arlie L. (nee Mullins) Mick, who preceded him, Mick was also preceded by his brother, James, and is survived by wife, Joy; son, Brandon; daughter, Alexi (Charlie) Mick Houle; sister, Jaqueline Mick; four nephews; and a host of friends.
Positions held by Mick at Goodyear over the decades included vice president and general manager, North America holdings and integration; vice president of dealer sales, North America; chairman and president of Goodyear Dunlop Tires; and others.
A memorial service for Mick took place in Fairlawn, Ohio, on April 12.
