OmniSource, a subsidiary of Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd., has hired Rob Montasser to serve as vice president of sales for the U.S. market.
Montasser most recently worked as vice president for the Falken brand at Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. (SRNA).
OmniSource says Montasser's two-plus decades of experience — which includes leadership with Falken, Dunlop Motorcycle and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. — will help it expand the company's presence in the U.S.
Most recently at SRNA, Montasser led passenger, light truck and commercial truck tire sales, "driving unit growth and enhancing sales execution across multiple channels," according to OmniSource.
He will be charged with driving "U.S. sales and operations, focusing on expanding market share, optimizing sales strategies, managing sales channels, and enhancing brand presence, particularly for Omni United Group’s flagship brand, Radar Tires," say OmniSource officials.
