TIA Comments on Trump Tariffs

April 3, 2025

The Tire Industry Association’s (TIA) vice president of government affairs says the group is “actively reviewing the recent tariff announcement.”

TIA “will continue to provide our members with the most current and relevant information,” Roy Littlefield IV, vice president of government affairs for TIA, told MTD.

“Given the complexities of this issue and the varying impacts on our diverse membership, we will not be issuing a formal statement at this time. We believe it is essential to gather more details, assess the full implications and monitor any potential changes on the horizon.

“TIA remains committed to keeping our members informed as the situation develops,” said Littlefield.
