Hunter Engineering Co. has integrated its unmanned inspection equipment with dealership management software supplier PBS Systems.
The integration offers “dealerships opportunities for streamlined processes, enhanced customer retention and optimized profits,” say Hunter officials.
“The new partnership allows service providers to attach digital inspection results directly to a service order, enabling seamless conversations with customers on vehicle alignment and tread depth status.
“Specialized alignment and tire service operation codes can be transferred directly onto the repair order, providing full transparency to the customer for increased trust. Additionally, Hunter Quick Tread Edge results can be used to populate tire wear inspections. PBS users utilizing the Tire Storage feature can use Quick Tread Edge data to populate tire diameter and remaining tread depth with a single click."
“In seconds, Hunter’s Quick Check Drive autonomous inspection system provides accurate and detailed alignment and tire tread measurements as a vehicle drives through the service lane,” says Hunter Inspection Product Manager Mike Brecht.
“Importing that data into the PBS systems service advisors are already using will helps dealerships sell more of those opportunities," he adds.
