Transamerica Tire Co. Ltd. has added three new sizes for the Venom Power Swampthing M/T tire, and an additional 20-inch light truck tire size is undergoing testing and expected this summer.
The Venom Power Swampthing M/T is designed as a high-performing mud-terrain tire, offering "rugged capability and aggressive style for the toughest trails."
The tire features an advanced rubber compound that's tested in mud and rocks to provide a tire with grip and control in extreme weather conditions that span the desert heat to freezing rain. The three-ply sidewall offers durability and protects against impact, while the dual sidewall lug design adds biting edges for traction and forward momentum in mud, on rocks and on loose terrain.
The newest sizes, which were first unveiled at the 2024 SEMA Show, include:
- 37X13.50R17LT
- 40X13.50R17LT
- 40X13.50R20LT
A fourth size, 42X13.50R20LT, is in the midst of testing, and expected to be available in summer 2025.
