Yokohama Corporation of North America (YCNA) has announced organizational changes, including a promotion and expansion of duties for Jeff Barna.
Barna, the president and CEO of Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) will also serve as president and CEO of YCNA, which adds responsibilities to support Yokohama Canada (YTV) and Yokohama Mexico (YTMX).
Shinichi Takimoto, who has served as chairman and CEO of YCNA for the past nine years, will assume the roles of Head of Japan Tire Business Division and Head of OE Tire Sales and Marketing Division for Yokohama Rubber Co. (YRC) in Japan.
Takimoto will maintain offices in both Hiratsuka and Shinagawa (Tokyo).
Barna thanked Takimoto "for his countless contributions in helping YCNA achieve its highest revenue earnings to date and elevating it to the most profitable entity within the entire YRC global network."
Additionally, Stan Chandgie, chief operating officer for YTC, will also serve in the same role for YCNA, adding responsibilities in Canada and Mexico.
The changes are all effective immediately, Yokohama said.
