The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced its comprehensive 2025 training schedule featuring specialized programs for tire technicians.
Registration is now open for all 2025 training programs.
The Automotive Tire Service (ATS) training focuses on passenger and light truck tire service and emphasizes safety, efficiency and professional grade judgement.
Key dates and locations for the ATS Advanced Instructor 400 level classes:
- March 18-21: Detroit, Mich.
- May 20-23: Long Island, N.Y.
- Aug. 5-8: Seattle, Wash.
- Sept. 23-26: Columbus, Ohio
- Oct. 14-17: Charlotte, N.C.
Two class dates have not been determined yet but will take place sometime in November in Los Angeles, Calif., and in December in Baltimore, Md.
The Commercial Tire Service (CTS) program provides an exploration of practices like wheel assembly, jack/lifting, lock-out/tag-out and adherence to the industry-approved guidelines.
Key dates and locations for CTS Instructor 400 level classes:
- April 15-18: Brooksville, Fla.
- May 13-16: Youngstown, Ohio
- Sept. 30 – Oct. 2: Youngstown, Ohio (women’s only class)
- Dec. 9-12 Brooksville, Fla.
The Advanced Hands-On Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) class focuses on advanced procedures. The ETS 200 level teaches service truck operation, hydraulic tools usage and the service of three- and five-piece wheels on and off machines.
Key dates and locations for Advanced ETS 200 classes:
- May 6-9: Brooksville, Fla.
- May 20-23: Garner, Iowa
- July 22-25: Garner, Iowa
- Dec. 16-19: Brooksville, Fla.
The Advanced Farm Tire Service (FTS) program offers instruction on demounting, mounting and inflating agricultural tires, plus safety and service truck operation.
Key dates and locations for the Advanced FTS 200 class:
- June 24 -27: Garner, Iowa
