Black's Tire Service Raises $175,000 for Charity

Black’s Tire Service Inc. hosted its 25th annual BTS Boys and Girls Homes Charity Golf Tournament and raised more than $175,000 for the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina.

Rick Benton, who oversees the Whiteville, N.C.-based dealership's wholesale division, called the event “another huge success,” thanks in large part to the event’s major sponsors, hole sponsors and players, as well as customers who made donations throughout the year to support the charity.

More than 230 golfers participated in the 2022 event.

Black’s raised $175,402.78 and additionally provided two $3,500 scholarships for children who utilize the homes.
