Anyline Unveils New Mobile Tire Tread Scanner

Nov. 2, 2022

Anyline Inc. has launched its new mobile tire tread scanning tool, which the company says works on any mobile device, uses artificial intelligence technology and accurately measures tire tread depth and wear.

Anyline is showcasing the tool during this week's Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nev.

"If we have five people measure the tread on the same tire with traditional tread reading tools, we will get five different measurements,” says Christian Plaicher, chief product officer, Anyline.

Anyline's new tool enhances accuracy and consistency, according to the company.

Once the app is downloaded, technicians can swipe their mobile device over the tire and receive tread measurements, according to Plaicher
