The EZ-Driver (P/N 29920) from Mayhew Steel Articles Inc. is a highly configurable tool set for installing bearings and other components onto or over a shaft. The company says it is the fastest method for installing bearings, bushings, gears and seals without the risk of damage.
The set consists of 33 pieces with two different styles of force distributors which are used to apply pressure/force to the correct area of the bearing to eliminate damage of races, cones or cages. Technicians can create over 200 different set-ups to use on hundreds of makes and models of vehicles.
The EZ-Driver also installs gears, sleeves, hubs, seals, sycro assemblies, suspension bushings, sprockets and pulleys onto a shaft.
