The popular Michelin trackside newsletter The Alley is now available free on-line to websites, car clubs and race fans.
Created in 2007, The Alley uses outstanding photography, colorful graphics and an upbeat style to provide news, insight and a fun look at the American Le Mans Series and Michelin motorsports programs. The Alley has become a must read for media, fans and teams alike.
“When SPEEDtv.com approached us last summer about using a feature from each issue of The Alley on their web site and providing a link to the full issue for their visitors, we realized that we had to take The Alley beyond the track and to the e-audience,” said Silvia Mammone, Michelin motorsports manager. “Fans were seeing The Alley at the track and wanted to read it all season long. So at the request of several teams, sponsors, car clubs and media outlets, we are pleased to make The Alley available starting with the Salt Lake City issue.”
The American Le Mans Series is where the future of the automobile is taking shape. During the 10-race, 2009 season, the world's most highly evolved sports cars push the limits of speed, efficiency and endurance. Global automakers are racing to the future of automotive technology. The team owners, drivers, technical leaders and key players are the kinds of people that fans want to know more about.
The ALMS features open competition, so although created by Michelin, The Alley includes stories and photos on competing teams and manufacturers. A new Hybrid entry from Corsa Motorsports is one of the features in the latest issue posted today.
