Arnco and Caterpillar Inc. have contracted to offer Caterpillar tires filled with Arnco’s SuperFlex polyurethane flatproofing material as optional equipment on Caterpillar’s new line of telehandler models.
The SuperFlex-filled tires are being offered as a factory fit option (from the United Kingdom) on the 350B, 360B and 460B telehandler models. They will be sold through rental dealers who supply products to construction, logging and other operators.
Bob Giasson, Arnco's director of marketing and OEM sales, says Arnco will be working with Caterpillar dealers to ensure they have sufficient material, training and support. Arnco also will be offering dealers retreading capabilities.
Caterpillar began offering Arnco-filled tires on its skid steer models last year. Flatproofing is available on Goodyear and Caterpillar tire sizes 13.00-24 SGG, 14.00-24 SGG and 15.5x25 SGL, adds Giasson.
