Due to escalating raw material costs, the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. plans to raise tire and retread material prices on Dec. 1, 2003.
All of the company's brands of consumer and commercial tires will be affected. Consumer tires will increase from 2% to 3%, and commercial tire prices will go up from 4% to 6%.
Prices on retread materials also will increase up to 6%, according to the company.
