Michelin Americas Truck Tires has extended its X One wide-base technology to off-road applications with the new Michelin X One XZY3, an all-position radial.
Michelin is displaying the new tire this week at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG convention in Las Vegas, Nev.
Among other features, the X One XZY3 contains a cut- and chip-resistant compound, original tread depth of 23/32, a flat contact patch to reduce irregular wear and Michelin's Infini-Coil Technology, which features a quarter-mile of steel cable wrapped circumferentially around the casing "to eliminate casing growth," say Michelin officials.
The X One XZY3 tire is available in size 445/55R22.5.
