Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. has introduced the all-new Falken Azenis FK460 A/S Silent Core.
The ultra-high performance, all-season tire is made with Falken’s Silent Core technology to meet the needs of electric vehicles by reducing cavity noise due to a foam insert on the backside of the tire tread.
Like the Falken Azenis FK460 A/S, the FK460 A/S Silent Core was developed with Falken’s Advanced 4D Nano Technology, producing a rubber compound that has a multifaceted balance of high-performance capability, four-season traction and long tread life.
The new tire maintains the same tread pattern as the original FK460 with emerging grooves and interlocking sipes. It also includes Canyon Groove Technology, which enhances braking performance in the snow.

The Azenis FK460 A/S Silent Core is applicable to many electric vehicles like the Audi E-Tron S, Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, Genesis GV60 and GV70 and more.
The initial roll-out will include 16 sizes with available rim sizes of 18- to 22-inches. The tire features a 50,000-mile limited tread warranty and Falken’s Road Hazard Protection.
