Kumho Tire USA Inc. will supply original equipment tires in four fitments for the new Volkswagen ID.4 electric SUV. The tires will be produced out of Kumho's Chattanooga, Tenn., plant.
Sizes include 235/55R19, 255/50R19, 235/50R20 and 255/45R20.
According to Kumho officials, the Crugen HP71 EV, a comfort SUV product, features high-dispersion precision silica and offers enhanced driving stability by improving braking power.
"The supply of electric vehicles is increasing as automakers aim for full carbon neutrality,” says Insoo Kim, managing director of OE sales, Kumho.
