Sailun Tire Group and TBC Corp. say the new Sailun ERANGE EV tire, which is designed specifically for electric vehicles, will be available in 32 sizes when it rolls out in late-2022.
The tire will fit wheels ranging from 15 inches to 22 inches in diameter, "covering 80% of electrified vehicles," according to TBC officials.
"TBC Brands is excited to introduce the ERANGE EV family to meet the needs of the growing EV segment," says Jenifer Golba, senior vice president of consumer product marketing, TBC.
"This family of tires was designed for those seeking an exclusive, high-quality product which addresses the top three concerns of EV customers - enhanced electric vehicle performance, increase range of the electric charge and a quiet, comfortable ride."
The ERANGE EV will represent the first application of Sailun's new, proprietary EcoPoint3 mixing technology.
