Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. (SRNA) will increase prices on Falken and Ohtsu passenger, light truck and medium truck tires on March 1. Inline adjustments will be made on a per-size basis.
The increases impact products sold in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
"Several factors have driven the need for this price increase, including increased costs in both transportation and labor," plus raw materials "and other market factors," according to SRNA officials.
