Kumho Tire USA Inc. is updating its all-terrain tire offering with the Road Venture AT52.
Made for pickup trucks, SUVs and Jeeps, the Kumho Road Venture AT52 combines off-road performance for rugged terrains with characteristics for on-road comfort. The tiremaker says the light truck market is “a focal point.”
Kumho says the tire features an aggressive design and durable construction. It’s made of a cut-and-chip resistant optimal polymer blend compound. The high-density, multi-angle sipes provide all-season performance, while the deep main lateral grooves and wide sub-lateral grooves provide confident traction when off-road.
The Road Venture AT52 replaces the AT51. The new tire will be available in 54 sizes with fitments for wheels ranging from 15 inches to 20 inches.
The tire has a 50,000-mile warranty on light truck and flotation sizes and a 55,000 mileage warranty on Euro-metric. The Road Venture AT52 also has road hazard protection and is severe snow service rated with the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake.
