Yokohama Advan Sport EV A/S Now Available in U.S.

Jan. 8, 2024

Yokohama Tire Corp. announced its Advan Sport EV A/S, an ultra-high-performance, all-season tire for electric vehicles (EV).

Currently available in the United States, the Advan Sport EV A/S comes in 10 sizes, fitting wheels ranging from 18 inches to 20 inches in diameter.

“It’s the first tire to carry the new E+ badge, which signifies that the tire is compatible with electric vehicles and able to fulfill the unique set of requirements brought by EVs,” says Drew Dayton, senior product planning manager, consumer tires, Yokohama.

All sizes of the Advan Sport EV A/S are backed by Yokohama’s 30-day money-back guarantee and a 55,000-mile treadwear warranty.

Yokohama officials say other benefits of the tire include a refined contact area, which equalizes the pressure distribution across the contact patch to promote longer wear; a new all-season compound that utilizes more silica to improve milage and snow performance; maximized sidewall construction that enhances sidewall stiffness for responsive handling; and more.
