Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has launched the newest addition to its Cooper Discoverer line.

The new all-terrain tire is designed to deliver traction, regardless of terrain. The tire features 3D sipe technology on its shoulders, wide and open grooves in its tread and it carries 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification.

“The Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT is built strong to help you harness your vehicle’s full potential with a unique tread designed to resist cutting, cracking and tearing and to help ensure you can get the job done every time,” says Jim Reese, director of category strategy and planning at Goodyear.

“This tire is just as tough as the predecessor, but with improvements in handling on dirt and gravel, improved treadwear and enhanced winter traction to meet you and your vehicle’s needs.”

The new tire comes with a 60,000-mile treadwear limited warranty. It is available in 28 sizes, fitting wheels ranging from 16 inches to 20 inches in diameter, and is compatible with popular Ram, GMC, Chevy, Ford and Jeep vehicles.

Other features of the tire include strategically designed tread lugs for resistance to cracking and tearing, a specialized rubber compound to plow through water and more.
