Tire Pros Announces New Offerings at Conference

Oct. 4, 2024

American Tire Distributor Inc.'s (ATD) Tire Pros franchise program announced new offerings and programs at its 2024 Tires Pro Conference, including new labor challenge initiatives and more.

The conference, held in Austin, Texas from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2, had the theme of Roadmap to Excellence.

“Tire Pros is a dealer-led organization, focused on empowering auto shops with the resources they need to deliver exceptional service to their customers while maintaining the freedom to run their business in the way that works best for them,” says Greg Bell, president of Tire Pros.

“Our conference is an opportunity for dealers to step back from the day-to-day of running a business, learn about organizational developments and foster connections with fellow dealers.”

Bell and other leaders provided attendees with tips and strategies for success, such as integrating digital tools to engage customers and building long-term relationships through exceptional customer service and communication.

Other new offerings introduced at the conference include Tire Pros University resources to help alleviate the pain of the labor shortage.

Initiatives include new training pathways for technicians and service advisors, enhanced onboarding for new hires, interactive modules, professional development and situational training. Tire Pros also provided franchisees with direct access to staffing services, including CareerPlug and LSI Staffing, at the conference's vendor fair.

Tire Pros also introduced an integrated website and point-of-sales systems to help streamline processes for the consumer, new partnerships to create cost-effective options for dealers and go-to-market consumer strategies for attracting new buyers.

Dealers in attendance also heard from ATD’s Interim CEO, Michael Feder, who recognized his commitment to Tire Pros and outlined goals and priorities for the organization.
