Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has come out on top in a six-year lawsuit thanks to a United States District Court settlement.

Cooper had sued in relation to an affadavit it believed contained disparaging information about the Findlay, Ohio-based company, according to reports.

"Cooper Tire is very pleased with the settlement this case," says a Cooper spokesperson. "The terms and conditions are confidential pursuant to a court order, so we cannot comment further."
