Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd. (ZC Rubber) has begun phase one production at its new  plant.

Located in Indonesia, the plant makes TBR tires that will be sold in North America, a ZC Rubber spokesperson told MTD.

The company recently held a commencement event at the facility that was attended by more than 300 ZC Rubber executives, dealers and suppliers.

The start of production at the factory is “a major milestone for ZC Rubber’s international growth.”

The plant represents an investment of $280 million. In addition to TBR tires, it can build  inner tubes and other products.

When fully operational, “it is expected to generate an annual revenue of approximately $720 million,” according to ZC Rubber officials.

“This new facility will boost the company’s ability to deliver high-quality products and enhances its competitiveness in key markets, while reinforcing its commitment to innovation and sustainable growth worldwide.”
