Continental Tire North America Inc. has been named an original equipment supplier by Mercedes-Benz US International Inc. for its 2009 model M-Class.
Continental will supply Mercedes-Benz with the Conti4x4Contact, a premium luxury performance SUV tire, in size 265/45 R20 108H XL.
The same tire, in size 235/50R19 99H, was recently named as an OE fitment on the 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK (see "Mercedes-Benz chooses Continental for its GLK," Jan. 08, 2009).
The companies have a long developmental history together.
