TBC Corp.’s Big O Tires group has announced that 34 students were awarded scholarships totaling $137,000 through the Big O Tires Scholarship fund.
The Big O Tires Scholarship Fund was created to support Big O Tires employees, franchise owners and their shop employees, plus their immediate family members, who wish to pursue additional education at a college, university or trade school.
Big O Tires scholarship recipients are selected based on a number of criteria, including academic record, extracurricular participation, financial need and more.
“In the spirit of Big O Tires’ commitment to training and education, we’re proud to recognize this group of students and help them achieve their goals with the support of a Big O Tires scholarship,” says Gary Skidmore, senior vice president and CEO of Big O Tires.
