Corp. has launched the new Toyo Proxes Sport A/S, which has been designed for “spirited drivers of sport and passenger cars.” “This premium, ultra-high performance, all-season tire delivers excellent braking and handling in both wet and dry conditions,” say Toyo officials. “It comes with a competitive mileage warranty of 50,000 miles for V-/W-rated sizes and 40,000 miles for Y-rated sizes.”
The Toyo Proxes Sport A/S boasts a newly developed, specialized silica tread compound for optimal wet and dry performance, a dynamic taper and improved rib design for even more contact pressure during braking and enhanced cornering stability; multi-wave sipes that minimize irregular wear and enhance both wet and dry performance; a rim protector; and other features.
“Our Proxes line of ultra-high performance tires is known by dealers and owners alike for performance, style and long tread life,” says Kevin Arima, senior manager, consumer products and technical services. Toyo. “The new Proxes Sport A/S continues that tradition with innovations that will satisfy dealers and delight customers.”
The Proxes Sport A/S powerline of 89 sizes provides almost 90% market coverage, according to Toyo officials.
“Dealers can simplify their shelf space with one exceptional product available in 16 to 22-inch rim diameters.There are 61 sizes currently available and an additional 28 sizes are coming soon.”
The new Proxes Sport A/S replaces Toyo’s Proxes 4 Plus, Proxes 4, and Proxes T1R tires.
