The WinterCommand Ultra, the latest premium winter tire from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., combines performance on ice and snow with confidence in wet conditions for drivers of sedans and CUVs.
The studless winter tire’s Cryo-Adaptive compound gives drivers the edge in extreme cold conditions. V-Tred technology and hydro dynamic grooves maximize water, slush and snow evacuation without compromising ride comfort. ActiveGrip technology offers handling and traction in wet and slushy conditions, and Active Block Cuts and Adaptive SipeGrip technology provide gripping power.
The tire will be available in 23 initial sizes in the third quarter of 2020, with another 30 sizes for 18- to 20-inch wheels coming in 2021.
