The new BFGoodrich Advantage T/A LT tire from Michelin North America Inc. is available in 33 sizes covering more than 70% of SUV and light-truck fitments.
This year-round tire for CUVs, SUVs and light trucks is an extension of the BFGoodrich Advantage T/A launched in 2016.
The Advantage T/A tires feature locking 3-D active sipes, which provide more biting edges, and designed for increased wet and snow traction. The company says Aqua-Flume technology disperses water from the contact patch.
The Advantage T/A LT tire has earned the“three-peak mountain snowflake rating by exceeding the United States Tire Manufacturers’ Association’s severe snow traction requirements.
The tire is offered in sizes ranging from 15-inch to 22-inch with T, H and V speed ratings. Six additional sizes for Advantage T/A LT are expected to launch in the first quarter of 2018.
